What type of information we have
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information is:-

As part of our Relocation Project work, we sometimes receive information relating to our Client’s employees, if they are included in a Relocation Plan. This is normally in the form of “current and proposed staff locations” in respect of their workplace and will only be provided to us, if the Client is satisfied that Precise Projects will treat this information confidentially and will be stored safely within our operating systems. This information may include work email addresses and telephone numbers which are provided by our Clients as part of the essential background information to detailed project planning.
We do not ask for or retain any Patient Information when engaged to oversee NHS Patient Ward Relocations and all information relating to our Corporate Clients is treated confidentially.
How we get the information and why we do we have it
The information referred to above, forms a Legitimate Interest, as part of our Move Planning Methodology, so that we can ensure that staff are relocated from and to the correct locations. This information is provided to us directly by our Client and is used solely for the purpose of planning specific relocations for that Client – this information will only be shared with the direct Client in question and their internal IT teams and is not circulated or published externally. It is the detailed use of staffing names and locations that provides our Clients with absolute assurance that all staff have been accounted for within each Relocation Project, and to ensure that the IT teams can ensure robust connectivity in terms of computer and phone set-up. It is information that our Clients and their Employees expect to provide to us, to enable us to conduct a well-planned and thorough Relocation Project for them.
The collation of this information forms part of our contractual obligations to plan and execute a successful Relocation for our Clients, however, if a particular Client or Employee does not wish us to hold their details, then we shall of course, respect their wishes.
What we do with the information
The information provided to us, that forms our Relocation Planning for each Client, is kept confidentially and is not shared to anyone outside of Precise Projects or our Client’s organisations.
How we store your information
The information is not processed for anything other than being used for each specific Relocation and is stored securely on our Internal Computer System or printed out as a point of reference, at the time the Relocation Project takes place. This Project Specific information is reviewed periodically and destroyed in due course once the Relocation Project has been completed.
Your data protection rights
Under data protection law, you have rights including:
Your right to data portability – You have the right to ask that we transfer the information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.
You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
